How financing works

  1. 01

    Choose your Chery

Pick the model and variant that fits your life — from the Tiggo 4 to the seven-seat Tiggo 8. Book a test drive in Lautoka or Suva to be sure.

  2. 02

    Talk to our team

Tell us your budget and how you’d like to pay. We’ll walk you through a drive-away price and what a deposit and weekly or fortnightly repayment could look like.

  3. 03

    We help arrange finance

General Machinery & Motors works alongside Fiji’s leading banks and finance companies. We help prepare your application and match you with a lender and a term that suits.

  4. 04

    Get approved & drive away

Once your lender approves — often within a day or two — we finalise the paperwork, settle with the lender, and hand you the keys.

Estimate your repayments

Estimates use a standard amortised loan and the indicative rate you choose. They exclude lender fees, charges and insurance, and are not an offer of credit. Your actual rate, term and repayments are set by the lender on approval.

Finance questions, answered

No — General Machinery & Motors helps you arrange finance through Fiji’s banks and licensed finance companies. We prepare your application and work with the lender on your behalf, so you deal with one team.

It depends on the lender and your circumstances. Some loans need no minimum deposit; a larger deposit lowers your repayments and can help approval. We’ll talk through what works for your budget.

Rates are set by each lender and assessed individually based on the loan amount, term and your circumstances, so there’s no single published rate. We help you compare options to find a competitive one.

Many Fijian lenders can return a credit decision within 24–48 hours once your documents are in. We help you prepare everything up front to keep it moving.

Most vehicle loans allow early repayment. Some lenders apply fees, so we’ll point this out when comparing options for you.

It’s a guide only, to help you picture repayments. It isn’t a quote or an offer of credit. Your actual repayments depend on the lender’s approved rate, fees and term.
